As with most conflicts and wars the conflict between native Americans and British colonies was largely over land. Though there was a twist. Native Americans had no concept of privately owned property. They might have wars over hunting rights to an area of land but they didn't imagine owning it, as the British did. The idea of people having exclusive rights to land was a concept they did not grasp. That's why the Indians thought they had put one over on the Dutch getting something of value for nothing when "selling" them Manhattan Island. And the Dutch thought they had a steal because they gave so little for private ownership of the land. There was no meeting of the minds because the two saw the exchange differently. It's more complicated than this but it makes a good story.

Also, other European nations, who saw land ownership the same as the British enlisted the Native Americans in conflicts with the British over ownership of land, e.g. the French and Indian War.

I'm no expert on the matter, sorry, but normally when a people invade your country and they don't treat you very well, you would usually rise up and (try to) kick them out.
