How did bugs come in your hair?Well, in the 1950's when the hawaiian islands were made life was starting to be born.When this little girl named Napua'aloha her mom saw Napua scratching her hair everysingle day.So the mom wondered why she was scratching her hair.So the mom checked her hair she saw these small brownish bugs and she spread the news about what she found in Napua's hair.She told one person then the person told the other person what happened then went on and on until the Al'ii heard.It wasn't good so they moved.The doctors in the hawaiian islands made a new medicine.When they saw it they called Uku's.When you have those uku's in your hair they start diggin in your scalp and drinking your blood from the brain.Sometimes you can also get from other people that has it or if you don't wash it clean.So stay away from other kids or adults that has it.If you go to school and they find uku's in your hair then they might send you home.Uku's aren't aloud in school.So remember we want to keep hair clean and out of trouble!
