Condensation is a process by which vapor or gas is converted into liquid. Water vapors which are present in air becomes due to climatic conditions. It is converted into liquids which ultimately forms clouds. The condensation of water will only take place if it condenses on any other surface. The surface is has to be cooler than that of the water vapor. Alternatively the water vapour equilibrium in the air should exceed. The process of condensation results in the formation of clouds and fogs. Precipitation also takes place.

Precipitation results when the condensation occurs so much that the air is not able to hold the water any more. Clouds become heavy and then the water from the cloud falls on the earth in the form of rain, hail or snow. The fallen water accumulates into the earth and becomes ground water which gets evaporated and results in the continuation of the water cycle.

Can condensation in your gas cause it to stall out?

Yes, condensation in your gas can lead to stalling. The water from the condensation can mix with the fuel and disrupt the combustion process in the engine, causing it to stall. It is important to regularly drain any water or condensation from your gas tank to prevent this issue.

How is evaporation the opposite of condensation?

Evaporation is the process of a liquid turning into a gas, while condensation is the process of a gas turning into a liquid. In evaporation, heat energy is absorbed, causing molecules to escape from the liquid's surface. In condensation, heat energy is released, causing gas molecules to come together and form a liquid.

Why do I have condensation on my windows?

Condensation forms on windows when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface, causing the air to release water vapor in the form of droplets.

Why is there condensation on my windows?

Condensation forms on windows when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface, causing the air to release water vapor in the form of droplets.

What is the sources of condensation?

Condensation occurs when warm air comes into contact with a cooler surface, causing the air to release moisture in the form of water droplets. Sources of condensation can include cooking, bathing, breathing, and air conditioning systems.

When water droplets appear on the outside of a cold glass of iced tea this is an example of .?

Condensation occurs when water vapor in the air comes into contact with a cold surface, such as a glass of iced tea, causing it to condense into liquid water droplets on the outside of the glass.

What is the cooling of water in the atmosphere that changes gas to liquid?

The process you are describing is called condensation. It occurs when water vapor in the atmosphere loses heat energy, causing it to change from a gas to a liquid state, forming clouds or precipitation.

What is the name of the process which changes vapour back into liquid?

The process is called condensation. It involves the cooling of vapor to its dew point, causing it to change from a gas phase to a liquid phase.

Why do windows have condensation inside?

Condensation forms on the inside of windows when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface, causing the air to release water vapor in the form of droplets.

Why is there condensation on the inside of my windows?

Condensation forms on the inside of windows when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface, causing the air to release water vapor in the form of droplets.

In condensation is energy gained or lost?

Condensation is exothermic. Energy is released during condensation. Energy can not be "lost" but merely change from one form to another.

When a gas changed into a liquid it is called?
