heres a tip on what to do when you have yellow teeth 1.brush ur teeth 2.keep brushing 3.still brush

brush round and roudn and inside out. orthodontists say two min, but most people do 1 min. brush round and round and insdie out. turn ur brush in a circular motion. remember to round brush ur molars in the back! and round brush the inside part of ur biting teeth, too. Also, i heard to also brush ur gums.

To avoid teeth discoloration, here are some of the best tips to follow:

1. Avoid or lessen as much as possible dark drinks and food.

2. Whenever possible, if you drink dark colored beverages use a straw so you are not likely to stain your teeth.

3. Brush your teeth regularly morning and night to prevent plaque and tartar that gives teeth a duller color.

4. Brush your teeth or chew gum cleaning after every meal to minimize discoloration from food and drink.

5. Use mouthwash when brushing to fight bacteria.

Can a 5 year old take doxycycline for strep throat?

Not unless you want the child's permanent teeth to be discolored. Tetracycline antibiotics (of which doxycycline is a member) have a particular side effect that causes discoloration in developing bone. While purely cosmetic, the discoloration of teeth is permanent. For this reason, doxycycline is not given to children under 18 or to pregnant mothers (who could transmit the drug to the fetus, causing discolorations in teeth).

Does Coke cause teeth discoloration and if so what ingredient in it causes this?

Yes, Coke is one of the many drinks that can cause teeth staining. A cleaining in a dental office should remove all or most of the stains. I'm not sure the ingredient that stains the teeth, but it's probably the dye's in it or maybe the caffeine. Any dark pop/soda will stain your teeth. Coffee and tea also. i think it is the dye Yes coke does cause stains and alot of them. I think the caramel color is the staining ingredient and the dyes. Not just discoloration but it also causes cavities. Absolutely. Haven`t had cavities in 17 years, started drinking diet coke for one year and ended up with 6 cavities. Not to mention the discoloration.
