The sun does not burn in the classical sense. The sun is so massive that, at its center, matter is compressed with such force hard that Hydrogen atoms fuse together to form Helium atoms. This fusion process liberates a great deal of energy, which escapes as light.
It won't.
In about 5 billion years it will have used most of its fuel. Then it will becom a red giant and after that it will become a white dwarf that slowly cools down.
If the sun always had enough helium and hydrogen to burn, it would keep shining until it's supply runs out.
Nuclear fusion. In the sun's core, it is busy converting hydrogen to helium by the process of nuclear fusion. This is the source of the sun's light and heat.
a nucular bomb being chuked at it
chemical reaction between gasses
Nuclear fusion of hydrogen into helium.
Ultraviolet light from the sun can cause skin cancer if you are exposed to enough of it for a sufficiently long time. If untreated, skin cancer can be fatal. Staring directly at the sun can cause permanent or temporary blindness, depending upon circumstances.
Yes. In our solar system the planets orbit the sun. The process of orbiting is a process of falling towards the sun, but their sideways speed is such that they continually miss (and thus end up going round) the Sun.So, yes planets can and do fall but they do not fall intothe sun. Thus from our viewpoint they do not appear to be falling.
Weathering from mechanical and chemical means is the process that causes rocks to become smaller and smaller; wind, rain, the sun, the freeze/thaw cycle, moving glaciers, chemical reactions, and gravity are some of the causes of weathering.
The surface of the sun is 5780 K.
This could easily be possible but as the sun is continually expanding i imagine that in a matter of time t would be sucked in and burned inside the sun
exposure to the sun without protection for extended periods of time.
Sun burn
the sun has a process called nuclear fushion, it is nearly what causes the sun's energy and its brightness.
the radiation from the sun's rays cause your skin to start to burn! Sort of scary...
Radiant energy, or electromagnetic energy.
Sun burn. Use sun screen and lotion. If that doesn't work I would recommend seeing a doctor.
When the sun rises and when the sun goes down and the moon comes up in the night ?:)
hydrogen is at the heart of a star, meaning that as it reacts it produces a massive amount of heat and light

The sun emits high energy radiation and charged particles that are hostile to life. The high radiation causes sun-burn the charged particles cause mutations.
