No one is quite sure yet, but the two main reasons for a person getting it are 1) if it runs in your family and 2) self-allergy. What I mean by that is that the cells that make up your insulin in the pancreas may begin to attack each other and your pancreas can not function correctly.
Type 1 Diabetes is caused by a combination of factors. First, the individual must be genetically predisposed to the disease: he or she must have inherited a gene from one of the parents. There are a number of genes which together cause type 1 diabetes, and they can come from one or both parents. It is possible (although uncommon) for a child to have type 1 diabetes even if neither parent had any symptoms.
Second, there must be a 'trigger' - an incident which causes symptoms to begin. These are typically related to diet, however there is some evidence that cold weather can make it more likely for diabetes to be triggered.
There are a number of other possible risk factors, including some viruses and chemicals, however there is very little conclusive evidence that any of them can consistently cause or prevent Type 1 Diabetes.
Hi!!
Type one diabetes is caused due to cell mediated autoimmune destruction of pancreatic beta cells(cells which secrete Insulin) ,leading to absolute insulin deficiency.
Hope i have answered your question.
Nobody is really sure why but your body just attacks and organ called a pancrease. It is also genetic.
The main cause for type 1 diabetes is genetic predisposition.
the immune system, the body's defense system against infection, is believed to be triggered by a virus or another microorganism that destroys cells in the pancreas that produce insulin
It may be caused by an antibody that attacks and destroys the islet cells of the pancreas, which produce insulin
Diabetes mellitus.
The scientific name for diabetes is diabetes mellitus.
"DM" in diabetes meant differently by different peoples they areDiabetes mellitus orDiabetes managementDiabetes is other wise called as diabetes mellitus, high blood sugar, high blood glucose, hype glucosemia. The steps to handle/caring/treating diabetes is called as diabetes management.
you have to be much more specific in your question. there are many types of diabetes- type one diabetes, type two diabetes, diabetes insipidus, diabetes mellitus. I, personally, am actually a type one diabetic (diabetes mellitus). This is not due to chromosomal error. No one is precisely sure as to how one acquires diabetes, but my doctor's believe I caught a virus which tricked my immune system to thinking my pancreas was sick, when it was in fact not. My immune system then killed my beta cells. Or alpha. I don't know haha. Hope this helps.
type 1 diabetes mellitus
Diabetes Type 1 is a severe form of diabetes due to absence of circulating insulin due to failure of production of insulin from the pancreas. It can lead to ketoacidosis and coma and requires regular medical attention
The most common one is diabetes mellitus. Others include water inoxication, diabetes insipidus, etc.
There are more than two. Type 1: your body attacking your insulin producing cells Type 2: your body becoming resistant to insulin LADA: Adult onset of type 1 diabetes Mody: Genetic, but different than type1 Gestational: diabetes in pregnancy
Type 2 diabetes is not the same thing as pre-diabetes. Pre-diabetes, or borderline diabetes, is a condition where the body either slows down insulin production or cannot correctly utilize insulin. Blood sugars are slightly elevated at times without taking any oral medication. This is usually associated with obesity and can usually be corrected with proper diet and exercise. If left untreated, pre-diabetes can become type 2 diabetes, which is basically a more severe form of pre-diabetes. With type 2, high blood sugars are usually treated with oral medication, or insulin injections if necessary. Your body does not produce enough insulin, nor does it use it correctly. This differs from type 1 diabetes, where the body does not produce insulin at all.
To use paneer booti in diabetes mellitus one must follow the instructions carefully, and precisely to make sure it is used in a proper and effective way.
One of the most well known autoimmune disorders is rheumatoid arthritis which causes swelling around the joints leading to painful and restricted movements. Another is Type 1 Diabetes where insulin creating cells are destroyed.
Type 1 Diabetes is a chronic, autoimmune disorder in which white blood cells attack the insulin-secreting beta cells inside the pancreas. One of the results being the loss of the body to produce enough insulin. Despite being considerable advances in treating diabetes it is always important to keep blood sugar levels under control unless they can bring a host of other complications such as renal (kidney) failure, heart problems, blindness, and some other things.
