water in passenger floorboard, where is the hose that would cause this?
The most likely culprit is the heater core.. its usually located under the dash on the passenger side.. if it starts leaking you will have water on the passenger side floorboard.. also the radiator fluid will be low.. Another possibility is the drain from the ac is clogged... alowing condenced water from the ac process to dump in the passenger side floorboard.. the heater core and the ac drain are located in the same area...
Water.
Its on the passenger side under the dash (you have to reach up from the floorboard, and will probably have to pull back the carpet to get to it).
It should be either in the trunk or the passenger or driver floorboard. To reset ot, push the button back down.
ECU is on the passenger's side front floorboard. There are a couple of retaining clips that hold the carpet in place. Remove those and pull the carpet back.
It's in the front passenger floorboard. Remove console, passenger kick panel and rocker sill cover, pull back carpet to access it. The ECM and TCM are right next to each other, bolted to the back of a metal plate that is bolted to the floor in this location.
Behind the driver's seat under the floor. Pull the carpet back to expose the battery hatch in the upper left corner of the passenger area floorboard.
Take off the windshield cowl on the passenger side. Inside there, you will see a rubber seal that is loose or has completely fallen off. This seal is supposed to deflect rain water into the drain hole near the wheel well. Simply push the rubber seal back into place. This will keep any water from getting into the fan filter below. Once reseated, just put the windshield cowl back in place. This is an alternate fix that requires the purchase of an improved design part that goes under the cowl. http://www.grandprixforums.net/water-floorboard-take-2-permanent-fix-6961.html
Take the seat off by unbolting it from the floorboard. Take the seat and the broken piece to a welder and have them weld or braze it back in place.
Go to the passenger side of the truck and in the floorboard up under the dash, pull the carpet on the side closest to the kick panel back and you will see it.
