VANOC is the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. VANOC was incorporated on September 30, 2003, to support and promote the development of sport in Canada by planning, organizing, financing and staging the XXI Olympic Winter Games and X Paralympic Winter Games in 2010.

This depends on what country you live in. For example, in the UK the Paralympics will be broadcast on BBC in the UK. There is has not been an announcement yet if any US channel wil broadcast the Paralympics. But no matter where you live, you can watch the Paralympics on Paralympic Sport TV. This is an internet site that is supported by the IPC (international paralympic committee) and will broadcast live events for 5-6 hours everyday from their internet site. Officially, yes. The London 2012 Paralympic Games are still to come though, so there are other events to watch. Channel 4 Is the official Paralympic broadcaster in the UK.

VANOC's goal for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was to create theaters for sport and top conditions for athletes. They also sought to make it an exciting place for spectators.
The opening ceremony takes place on March 12 2010 and they will compete until the closing ceremony which is on March 21 2010
