I'm not sure when it started (cuz I read this a while ago and I'm starting to forget) but ALL the curses were broken by volume 22.
Kureno's curse was broken long before all the others. And Momiji's curse was the first to break for some reason in a different volume. (something around vol.19 i think)
And at the end, Akito frees them all (as in, not making them stay at the Sohma house) and then a happy ending:)
