you can wear pretty much any shoe your comfortable in, depending on your skill level learning to shuffle in slippery or not so grippy shoes are preferable and then as you get going pick shoes that are more comfortable and cheap as you go through alot of them. vans and rabens are great to start out with along with connies although converse arent overly great. but cheap skate shoes from target and other cheapo stores work great just scuff the bottem of them for a while and you have your shoes <3 happy shuffling.
