Division I team mascots with no color or 's' are: Centenary Gentlemen, Elon Phoenix, Howard Bison, Hofstra Pride, Illinois Fightin Illini, Lipscomb Bison, Marshall Thundering Herd, Navy Midshipmen, Nevada Wolfpack, North Carolina State Wolfpack, North Dakota Fighting Sioux, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, St Francis (Pa) Red Flash, St John's Red Storm, Syracuse Orangemen (Although they could be considered the Orange), Tulane Green Wave, Tulsa Golden Hurricane, William & Mary Tribe, and the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix
Other schools, such as the Stanford Cardinal, refer to the teams' mascot as a color, so they are not represented here. But yes, the Cardinal are a team without an 'S' at the end, so in categories with that subject, they would belong...
If you really want to get technical - Georgetown Hoya. Hoya is latin for "wet rocks" - plural. The actual team name is the Georgetown Hoya - no color, no "s" and no animal. (there are 8 if one counts Hofstra "Pride" as not referring to a group of lions...)
Stanford is wrong. It is the Stanford Cardinal, referring to a deep red color. Their mascot is a tree, depicting the Redwood native to the region. The Louisville Cardinals are likely the most popular with the cardinal bird as a mascot.
The plural is color guards.
Yes, Northampton Area Community College. There mascot is a pink spartan!
brown
be more specific, WHAT MASCOT? just look it up on google images, so you can see what color it is.... stop relying on this site for answers and find out yourself.
Light teal.
Blue and Green, and a hawk
I think you mean Santa Clara University. The mascot is the Bronco and the colors are red and white. (The person who said Banana Slugs was mistaken - that is the mascot for UC Santa Cruz, a different school entirely)
There is no official mascot at Stanford. we have two unofficial mascots: Stanford tree and Stanford cardinal referring to the color.
Stanford's "mascot" is the color Cardinal. The Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band's (LSJUMB) mascot is the tree. Each individual selected by the band to be tree builds their own costume using their own interpretation of what the tree should look like-- it has been a pine, but also a palm.
the mascot for Stanford university is the Stanford tree and the Stanford cardinal...
