The rainbow is created by refracting white light into separate colors, which is why there is no white, and black is the absence of color. Truly, black and white are not colors when referring to light, but the primary and secondary colors will be present in a rainbow. Other "colors" such as camouflage will not be visible.

Commonly this is reduced to red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, violet but really there are an infinite number of colours.
