What color looks good on redheads?

It really depends what skin tone you have, but pretty much every color that looks good on blondes. I at least know that redheads look fabulous in all shades of green and blue, and that pale skinned brunettes/blondes should stay away from nude-colored or magenta-colored clothing. I don't know much else.

Yes, I also agree that it depends on your skin tone. Brunettes can look good in any colour because brown is a neutral colour (the same cannot be said for pure blondes and redheads) therefore the only concern is which shade.

Brunettes with dark skin can pull off the rich blue shades beautifully. By this i mean rich blue, royal purple etc. Teal will also look amazing.

Brunettes with pale skins should wear the softer shades. Baby blues and pinks, soft yellows (this looks fantastic! Especially if your have brown eyes) and lilacs are the way to go.

If your are fortunate enough to have coloured eyes, try incorporate that colour into your clothes as well if you want to bring out the colour. This works especially well for brunettes, as we usually have darker brows and lashes. That, in combination with the colour in your clothes, will draw attention to your eyes and make them pop.

If you want to wear red, also take into consideration which shade. In my opinion, darker haired people should wear the bluer shades of red. This I mean like the wine reds, not the orangey reds that blondes can pull off better.

Nothing looks better than a brunette in plain white or black (think those flowing ivory red carpet gowns) but NOTE!!! You need a tan to pull this off!!! Paler people, regardless of hair colour, should stay away from concentrated amounts of black or white, as this emphasizes the paleness. Lucky for brunettes though, most of us have the darker skin that (natural) blondes and redheads would kill for over their pinkish tones.

If you are a brunette and want to go blonde, you are CRAZY!!!! IN my opinion there is nothing more beautiful than a well dressed brunette with long healthy hair and well framed eyes from our dark colouring!

For now I'll consider myself as a pale skinned person, but have a bit of a tan. Not much, mind you, but still. Will that change anything? The reason I'm asking is because a sudden disagreement popped up on my bus home from school between my friend and I. We kinda argued over who looked better (sexier, in her opinion) in what color. So we started a contest over who looked prettier. So I need to know all that I can for tomorrow. :-) I am also 11, so I can't wear any make-up except lipgloss. Can you help me? If so, thnx!

I myself am a redhead, and a lot of it has to do with the color of your eyes. My eyes are blue, so I usually go with a brown/black mascara, because my eyelashes are also a pale blondeish. Then I lightly line my lower lid with brown/black eyeliner, but not all the way across, just halfway. Then for eyeshadow, I only wear it at night when I go out with friends, but I usually either go for a deep purple, or a subtle green. They both accentuate a redhead's hair color very nicely. Then of course, to hide a few blemishes, I use ivory concealor, and take an eyebrow pencil to my eyebrow, because it's such a pale color. Then I'm good to go! i have green eyes and i always wear a gold eye shadow on my eyes

i would go with very neutral. as far as eyeshadows maybe a forest or dark green that would bring out the red. with the lips i wouldn't go with anything bright like red. again stay neutral!
