Red, that's why it appears red.
Red and blue are primary colours therefore they do not contain any other colour. When a blue light is shone onto a red object, all the blue light is absorbed by the red object, and as no red light is being shone for the red object to reflect, no light will be reflected from it and it will appear to be black. It is important to remember that physical colours will only reflect it's light colour equivalent. All other colours are absorbed. So red will reflect red, green will reflect green, and red will absorb green and so on.
Each piece of clothing usually reflect only a few colours. Pure white light contains all of the colours, so an item of clothing can reflect all of the few colours it is capable of reflecting. If an item of clothing is viewed in magenta light (which is mainly blue and red) then that clothing may show that it is only able to reflect some shades of red and/or some shades of blue.
black does not reflect any light because it absorbs all the colours of white light .
They will look red. This is because red boots only reflect red light. If white light was shining on them then they would still appear red because the red light would be reflected into your eyes and the other colours from the spectrum would be absorbed. However, if, for example blue light was shining on them, they would look dark/black because there is no red light to reflect.
It will look red. White light is made up of a spectrum of many colours. The primary colours are red, green and blue. An object (in white light) appears yellow because it reflects red and green light but absorbs blue light. In red light, the same object will simply reflect the red light. Since there is no green light, the object will appear red. (A mixture of red and green gives yellow)

because dark colours absorb light and light colours reflect light

A green object would look blaack in a red light because coloured objects absorb all colours except the colour they are, so a green object absorbs 6 colours (red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, violet) and reflects 1 (green). In this situation, there is no green light to reflect and it can't reflect other colours, so it looks black. :)

Appple reflets red colour specifically because it absorbs all the colours of the light spectrum except red. So it reflects red.
Colours appear the way they are because of light. Objects such as this bus reflect colours from light..thats why most things apear black in the dark because there is little or no light to reflect off of. Yellow objects reflect yellow while absorbing remaining colours
Light colours. White is best.
Red light plus green light equals yellow light. This is why you get yellow on a screen. Light colours mixed give you different colours to paint colours. Light Primary colours are red, blue and green but Paint Primary colours are red, blue and yellow.
