Elvis' only commercial was in 1954 and it was with a local company named

"Southern Maid Doughnuts". However, Elvis did allow for print ads supporting the March of Dimes in 1956 and 1957.

On November 6, 1954 Elvis made his first "commercial" for a local company named Southern Maid Donuts. This commercial aired during the Louisiana Hayride which was a popular music mecca similar to the Grand Old Opry.

Elvis also did audio commercials, and print ads, for the March of Dimes and to promote Polio vaccines.
