∙ 12y agoOn November 6, 1954 Elvis made his first "commercial" for a local company named Southern Maid Donuts. This commercial aired during the Louisiana Hayride which was a popular music mecca similar to the Grand Old Opry.
Elvis also did audio commercials, and print ads, for the March of Dimes and to promote Polio vaccines.
