Since most companies do not disclose how many 6 or 7 figure income earners they have, this would be difficult, if not impossible, to determine.

*Many times you will see 'Primerica' as the answer to this questions. That is because primerica is a terrible company with no real merits so their agents have to make up crap like this. The fact is, IF primerica truly had the most 6 and 7 figure income earners, there would be some sort of documentation or proof somewhere. It is easy to say your company is the best, but its another thing to prove it. They can't because they aren't. Also, if primerica was HALF as good as they think they are, they would have been taken over by a real company.

Who pay most taxes rich or poor?

I'm afraid that you may not get the answer that you want with this question. The top 5% of earners in the United States pay over 95% of the taxes. The U.S. has a progressive tax rate system meaning that the more income you earn the higher your tax rate on your earnings will be and therefore, the more taxes you will pay. It all depends on what you call poor people but basically poor people pay no taxes in the United States as far as income tax goes. Our system is set up to redistribute wealth which means we tax higher earners and distribute the money to the lower income earners in the form of money and services.

What company pays the most six figure income?

In my tax return do I give my total net income or total gross income?

Most of your income is taxable on the gross income level. Some items are excluded from taxable gross income (such as pretax deductions from your paycheck for child care or medical expenses). Wage earners will enter the income in box 1 of their Form W-2 which is their taxable gross income. Other types of income are taxable at the net income level. If you have your own business, you can deduct business expenses from your gross income before adding the net income to your tax return. If you own a partnership, business expenses are deducted from gross income.

How does a sales tax affect a low income person?

Sales taxes are known to be a form of regressive taxation (whereas income taxes are considered progressive). Regressive usually refers to impacting lower incomes more, while progressive taxes impact higher incomes more.In simple math, low income persons have less disposable money available for purchases of any sort (whether necessities or otherwise). A greater portion of a low income person's income gets directed to basic necessities by default. The staples that one needs to just get by in the world for example do not have any impact on a high income person in terms of cost in relation to their income level. Thus if you place a consistent sales tax on goods across the board, it's going to be felt more severely by lower income individuals. For example, a 6% tax on milk, bread, heating oil, gasoline, clothing, or numerous other goods considered a necessity, is going to be felt significantly by somebody earning $15,000 per year (and barely noticed by somebody earning $250,000 per year); it's ultimately due to the difference in disposable incomes between low income and high income persons. Income taxes are hyper progressive in most of the industrialized world with the intention to balance such differences out. For example in the United States, the bottom 40% of income earners pay on average zero federal income tax (and the top 1.3 million income earners, pay as much in federal taxation as the bottom 130 million earners).
