You need no conduit on a residential home using Romex wiring with wooden studs. For a 15 amp circuit use 14/2 wire with a 15 amp breaker. This can only be used in bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas. All other areas of the home require 12/2 wiring with a 20 amp breaker.
Conduit fitting is used on metal pipes that house electrical wires. These fittings are not only to connect the various pieces together, but to keep a relatively water tight seal to the wires.
Conduit is just a medium to get the wires from one place to another. There is no voltage restrictions in low voltage wiring (750 volts or less). When it comes to conduit fill, electricians are governed by the electrical code conduit fill tables. The conduit is sized to accommodate the conductor size for a specific load.
PVC is a material, Poly vinyl chloride - a type of plastic. 20 mm is a size, probably inner diameter of a cylindrical pipe. Conduit means that it's used to run something like other wires, or a thinner pipe, through.
A conduit connecter is a connecting piece used to connect two individual conduit units together. Conduit connecters can refer to both electrical conduits and pipe/plumbing related conduits.
Conduit bodies are used to provide pulling access in a run of conduit, to conserve space where a full size bend radius would be impractical, to allow more bends to be made in a section of conduit or to split a conduit path into multiple directions.

If the conduit has reached its limit as to how many wires can be in it, there is only one course of action and that it to install another conduit parallel to the existing one. The electrical code book only allows a certain cross sectional filling of any conduit size. The rule is based on the dissipation of heat from the conductors in the circuits through the conduit walls. Once the wire fill has reached that figure no more wires should be pulled in because of insulation heating. Over time the heating of the insulation could lead to insulation breakdown and then short circuiting of the existing conductors that are in the same conduit.
The word residential is an adjective. Adjectives are used to describe nouns. Adjectives do not have a plural form.e.g. "One large (adj) house. / Two large houses." Notice that it is the noun (house) that becomes plural, not the adjective.Compare:* The survey covers each residential area. (Singular)* There will be ten residential areas in the preliminary survey. (Plural)Singular and plural of related nouns: residence/residences; resident/residents.
There are many types of conduit used for the containment of electrical wires. PVC is a non-metallic option. If you need something that provides mechanical protection, EMT is a steel conduit with a thin wall. Need even more mechanical protection, you can use rigid conduit. It comes in steel or aluminum, and must be threaded together.
Conduit clips are most commonly used in car engines, in washing machines to hold specific pipes in place. Larger ones can hold bannisters in place, smaller ones can be used t keep telephone wires in place, keeping them tidy and less of hazard.
A distribution transformer IS the term used to describe the utility transformer which supplies a residence.
They are not usually used as wires themselves, but are used in wiring systems. Zinc is used as a plating for anti-corrosion in conduit fittings and such. Bronze is used for ground clamps among other things.
