Very few. Because hermit crabs need to remain stationary to molt they need to be kept with their own kind to avoid being cannibalized.

Some owners do add rollie pollie bugs to their crab tanks as cleaners and that has proven to be quiet successful.

No.

Different animals give off different bacterias, so you don't want those mixing.

AND you never know what different types of animals will do together unsupervised 24/7. It's better that you keep your hermit crabs separate than other animals you have.

Seagulls, rats, turtles, yellow fin tuna, and occasionally, hermit crabs eat other hermit crabs.

not many due to the need for them to shed their shells regularly to grow. they can be kept with other hermit crabs though
