Cellular Respiration is the process in the cell that creates energy (ATP). Cellular Respiration is broken up into three stages; Glycolysis, the Krebs Cycle, and the Electron Transport Chain. Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell and is responsible for the net formation of 2 ATP molecules. The process then enters the matrix of the mitochondria where the Krebs Cycle takes place. The Krebs Cycle is responsible for the formation of 4 ATP molecules. Finally, the Electron Transport Chain is responsible for the formation of 30 ATP molecules. Therefore, for each cycle of cellular respiration, 36 molecules of ATP are produced in the cell.
ATP. ATP comes from the mitochondria. in the presence of oxygen, ETS system will be activated and energy is released as the main product, water and carbon dioxide are by-products..
the electron transport chain - a process that takes place in the mitochondria of cells
Mitochondria generates most of the cell's energy in form of ATP.
Organelles called mitochondria generate energy.
Mitochondria. Which is why it is called the power house.
The cell membrane does not use energy.
The MITOCHONDRIA is the main power house of the cell. It creates most of the energy in the cell.
Mitochondria within the cell creates energy for the cell through Electron cycle.
Mitochondria generates most of the cell's energy in form of ATP.
The mitochondria in a cell basically creates energy (ATP) from nutrients absorbed through the cell membrane. This is the only organelle that supplies/ creates energy for the cell.
the power house of the cell. It creates energy for the cell.
Mitochondria
mitochondria
The Mitochondria of the cell produces the energy the cell needs or if you are in a plant you must use the chloroplasts to go through photosynthesis the energy that creates then goes to the mitochondria to be processed.
Organelles called mitochondria generate energy.
Mitochondria. Which is why it is called the power house.
Mitochondria act as a digestive system in a cell that provides the cell with energy. Mitochondria take in nutrients and break them down, which creates energy for the cell.
The cell membrane does not use energy.
The MITOCHONDRIA is the main power house of the cell. It creates most of the energy in the cell.
