Depending on the size of the volcano and if the lava is slow or fast. A super volcano could wipe out one quarter or half of the world.
Thin lava
Volcanoes can cause tremendous damage to everything. The ash can travel hundreds of miles, wiping out towns and villages, and the lava can reach speeds of 35mph, incinerating everything it touches (lava can reach 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
fission bomb no, fusion bomb yes.

what is an Incendiary bomb and what damage does it cause
Not a bomb in the usual sense- lava bombs are globs of lava formed inside of a volcano- blown out by the force of an eruption.
Depending on the blast wave, an A bomb could do damage for up to five miles. The Atomic bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945 left no standing buildings for two miles in all directions.
The bomb capable of causing the most damage would be a large fusion type nuclear weapon, commonly called the H Bomb or Hydrogen Bomb. However, if it is close enough to you, even a very small regular bomb was be as deadly as could be to that person.
Given the power of modern atomic bombs, it is unlikely that a single atomic bomb could destroy the world. It is doubtful that a single atomic bomb could cause irreparable damage to civilization (given humanity's spread across the planet etc)
Its hot
It was an atomic bomb. The city was devastated. The damage came from the heat and the radiation.
Nuclear bombs can be dangerous as during a atomic bomb explosions, it produces radiation. The effects of radiation could be that it can cause permanent damage to cells and can cause mutation. Along with this, it could cause severe burns to the skin.
Nagasaki
A meteor could be more devastating than the Hiroshima bomb or could be less potent. We cannot be sure because there is no way to measure the meteors specifics properly. That one that passed closed this year was enough to cause some damage equal to an atomic bomb.
There isn't a one answer but a nuclear bomb and M.O.A.B is all i can think of :).
