The passages in which Jesus rose to heaven are called the ascension, and are only found in Luke's Gospel and Acts of the Apostles. Luke says that Jesus was seen by the disciples to ascend bodily to heaven on the evening of the same day as his resurrection from the grave (Luke 24:51) - Sunday.
Acts of the Apostles, written by the same author but some time later, says that Jesus remained on earth for forty days after his resurrection from the grave and was then seen by the disciples to ascend bodily to heaven. Acts is not sufficiently specific about exactly how many days the risen Jesus was on earth to say which day this was.
after Jesus resurrected he went to heaven with his father, god.
it was mary since she had the asumption into heaven and jesus brought her up from the dead and she went to heaven
Traditionally celebrated August 15, the Assumption of Mary is the day when Catholics celebrate Mary's assumption into Heaven. She did not die and get buried; she was assumed into Heaven.
Jesus Christ went to heaven
Mary was born a Jew and spent most of her life as a Jew. She went to Heaven as a Christian Catholic, however.
The main view of the catholics is that Mary was a virgin all her life, Mary intercedes for us and not Jesus, they believe Mary did not die but went to heaven.
That at the end of her Earthly Life, Mary went to Heaven both Body & Soul, just like the Prophet Elijah.
mary had a little lamb, a little lamb, a little lamb. mary had a little lamb, its fleece was white as snow. And everywhere that mary went, mary went, mary went. And everywhere that mary went, the lamb was sure to go. It followed her to school one day, to school one day, to school one day, It followed her to school one day and that was against the rules. It made the children laugh and play, laugh and play, laugh and play, It made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school.
It is the assumption. Mary's body and soul were taken up to heaven.
The results were Mary becoming happier each day she went into the garden
Ascencion day is remembered by Christians because that is the day that our Savior Jesus ascended into heaven. He had opened the gate of heaven, and now he was there to welcome all the people who had died.
He went to Heaven with the 11 disciples looking up after him.
