the next Monday er the Friday before! :)
Your welcome!
p.s-depends on the company, or school.
That was a nice Saturday. :)
Because December 26th is Boxing Day.
I do! Many companies do the same. Our Government sure does!
A few states in America recognize Boxing Day (called the Day After Christmas Day), but generally, most Americans are not off work on Boxing Day unless their employer decides to close or if people choose to use one of their own personal vacation days. Most Americans are off on Christmas Day, as many businesses are closed, with the exception of places like gas stations and some fast-food restaurants. If Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, then the holiday will be observed on Friday, generally; if it falls on a Sunday, then it will be observed on Monday. Most Americans work on Christmas Eve, even if it is a shortened day, unless their employers are kind enough to be closed or if people take their own vacation days. Many Americans save a good amount of their vacation and use the days so that they can have a week or two between Christmas and New Year's off.
The number of days off you get on Christmas can vary depending on your employer and the country you are in. In some places, Christmas Day may be a public holiday and you may have the day off work. In other cases, you may only have the day off if it falls on a weekend or if your employer chooses to give you the day off as a paid holiday.
That depends entirely on your employer. If you don't normally work on Saturday, no, you would not normally be paid for it. Most employers will give Friday or Monday off when the holiday falls on a weekend. Check your paid holiday schedule for your company.
workers did get the day off. it was rare, but they did on christmas day
if your day off is a Wednesday and xmas day was a Wednesday would you be entiltiled to another day off
No it's not open on Christmas day. I work there and we had Christmas off though we were open Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas for shoppers. Everything goes half off the day after Christmas!

Saturday is considered a weekend day in the U.S. Saturday is famous for marking the first day off from a regular job, and pretty much every person who works a standard job (5 days a week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) gets Saturday off. Saturday is NOT a holiday in the U.S.
School that occurs on Saturday which is usually a day off. Traditionally school is Monday through Friday.
