Will the new sdxc be compatible with older cards?

Yes. SDXC is the next evolution of SDHC just as SDHC is the evolution of SD. Newer devices can read the older type memory cards, but it doesn't work in reverse (you can't put an SDXC card in an SDHC device).

What is the biggest SD card?

the largest SDHC is 32gb by Kingston good quality sd cardAnswerRight now the biggest SD cards are 16GB, they're always getting bigger though.(Axiom Memory Solutions 16GB Secure Digital High Capacity Class 6 Flash Card SDHC6/16GB-AX - www.macmall.com)AnswerStrictly speaking SD cards are upto 2GB capacity. To support ever increasing demand for memory capacity a new standard SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity, SD 2.0) was introduced which enabled capacities above 2GB. These cards are called SDHC and are available upto 32GB capacity. But SDHC cards are not compatible with older devices which support only SD card standard devices. Devices which support SDHC due to backward compatibility support smaller capacity (less than 2GB) SD cards also. In summary SDHC cards only work in SDHC compatible devices, but standard SD cards work in both SD and SDHC devices.- Neeraj SharmaAnswerOriginally the SD standard (ver. 1.0) allowed 1GB capacity. A minor update to this standard (ver. 1.1) changed the limit to 2GB. The SDHC protocol standard allow up to 32GB capacity. After this a protocol standard SDXC, introduced Jan 2009, allow up 2TB.As of Jan 2009, SDHC cards with the max capacity 32GB are available from companies such as Kingston, Panasonic and TakeMS.- RifToshiba is offering a 64GB SD memory card.-fw

How can you make a Micro SDHC card into a normal Micro SD card?

"It comes with an adapter" No - all the adapter does is makes it from a micro SD card into a (standard size) SD card. Not sure you can do anything to convert it from SDHC to SD as they physically address the memory differently. Your equipment has to be SDHC compatible to read/use them.* SD compatible equipment - Will read/write to SD cards but WILL NOT read/write SDHC cards* SDHC compatible equipment - Will read/write both SD and SDHC cards
