He came up with good theoretical explanations for:
1) Brownian motion (Arguably this is the most widely applied theory of his. This theory is a very practical tool for approaching certain Biology, physics and finance problems.)
2) Photoelectric effect (This theory led to great inventions in electronics. He was awarded his Nobel Prize for this theory.)
3) The relation between Electric Field and Magnetic Fields by what is known as special theory of relativity. In other words, he has theoretically unified electric and magnetic forces. He solved a mystery that could not solved by physicists for many years, and challenged the Newtonian mechanics. His study on special theory of relativity has made him very famous among the physicists.
He also started the field of general relativity. This theory unifies special relativity and Newton's law of universal gravitation, and describes gravity as a geometric property of space and time, or space-time. In particular, the curvature of space-time is directly related to the four-momentum (mass-energy and linear momentum) of whatever matter and radiation are present. This is still an active research area, and his pioneering work in this field is still inspiring many physicists and applied mathematicians of our generation.
He also contributed to many political and philosophical discussion of his time. His thoughts on political issues made him a celebrity of the media of his time.

carbonated beer and the theory of relativity
Albert Einstein was the first person to ever be able to show a way to prove the existence of atoms. He did this by using a simple microscope.
In 1916, towards the end of the Industrial Revolution, Albert Einstein published perhaps his most famous work which we refer to as "The Theory of Relativity."
Albert Einstein Einstein had no middle name.
yes, he did contribute to the field of geometry. he credited Gauss with formulating the mathematical fundamentals of the theory of relativity.
