Prior to going into hiding, Anne's hobbies were reading about Greek and Roman mythology, collecting pictures of movie stars and famous people (mostly royalty), the books of Cissy van Marxveldt, which she enjoyed, Table Tennis, and flirting with boys (yeah, she was also obsessed with boys like a lot of today's youth). Since she went into hiding almost immediately after getting her diary, writing became her all-consuming hobby in hiding. Once in hiding, she also developed a strong interest in genealogy.
Anne Frank did not have the opportunity to have many hobbies because she did not have the opportunity to live a normal childhood. As the Nazi's took over, Anne's family was forced to hide in her father's annex. Anne was given a diary and she wrote in the diary every night. So, Anne's most known hobby would be writing about the awful experiences her and her family went through and her feelings about life.

Anne Frank had a loving personality and was very talkative Her main hobby was reading and writing. She liked ping-pong and going outside to enjoy nature, so going into such a confided space in the annex was a big change for her young soul.
