because he created the natural selection
Charles Darwin first recorded and made scientific use of these observations, however he was NOT the first to observe them. Indeed his journal record that the governor on one Island boasted that he could tell which Island a tortoise cam from simply by the shape of its shell. Therefore people before Darwin noticed and observed these things but it took Darwin to work out what they meant (told us).
Darwin's most famous work was titled "On the Origin of Species" . It is his theory of evolution by natural selection
Charles Darwin did his work on the HMS Beagle.
No, Darwin knew nothing about Mendel's ideas and work. His, Darwin's, heritability concept was absolutely wrong. There is a legend that Darwin had a copy of Mendel's work in his desk but could not read German. The veracity of this story is often challenged.
i dont know you tell me me not you me
I can tell you but i cant
Unfortunately not. Darwin's idea of how offspring inherited characteristics was wholly mistaken, Mendel's work would have been very useful support for Darwin's work but although Mendel sent a copy of his paper to Darwin, it was in German and Darwin didn't have it translated and so didn't realise it's importance.
Erasmus Darwin was Charles Darwin's poetic grandfather. He was a physician, natural philosopher, and poet known for his work in evolution and natural history.
