This is my opinion. Mary and Joseph would sell it to survive in Egypt Also, they would use the money during Jesus' triumphant entry to Jerusalem as a humble king. Mary would use the frankincense as an offering to God during the last week of Jesus on earth, especially when Christ prayed a high priestly prayer for himself, his disciples and for us his believers.

Mary would use myrrh for Christ's burial. But the women came to the tomb, he was already risen from the dead. So she would save it as a remembrance for her son.

I think, God would save the gold from the wise men in the New Jerusalem in heaven and we would see it.

A:In Matthew's Gospel, the wise men gave gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh, which would have made them very rich by the standards of the day. Shortly afterwards, the young family fled to Egypt, where they now doubt spent several years until they received word that King Herod died. Even after they began the return journey to their home in Bethlehem, Joseph was warned of further danger in a dream, so they turned aside and instead travelled to Galilee where they settled in a city called Nazareth. Logically, Jesus' parents would have needed to support themselves for the time in Egypt, perhaps buy a donkey or two, so that Mary could ride there and later back to Judea and then Galilee, and finally buy or build a home in Nazareth.

We can not take any clues from Luke's nativity account, since this is an entirely different story in which the home town of Joseph was Nazareth, but in which there was no gift of gold, frankincense or myrrh. John Shelby Spong (Born of a Woman: A Bishop Rethinks the Birth of Jesus) says that neither of the nativity stories contains any historical truth, so there never was any gift from any wise men.

The gifts from the Magi who had traveled from the east to the baby Jesus were gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The Bible does not mention what happened to these gifts.

Who visited Jesus Mary and joseph 12 days after Jesus birth?

There is no record in the Bible that I can see of anyone visiting Jesus Mary and Joseph 12 days after Jesus' birth. The only visitors to them all that seem to be recorded, are the three wise men and the shepherds, who visited them in the cattle shed just after the child was born.
