Michael lead a quiet life after the trial in 2005, He had not had an album out since 2001 (Invincible) but yet he was still working and recording songs. Due to the trial Michael decided to move out of Neverland, He moved to Ireland & Bahrain for a couple of years but shortly after moved back to the US where he continued to lead a quiet life and raise his children. In 2008 he released a 25th anniversay album for Thriller, Where he collaborated with various other artists including Will.I.AM and Fergie. In 2009 Michael would announce his This Is It concert series outside the O2 in London, Michael would rehearse for his tour, if Michael had not died on June the 25th of 2009 he would have gone onto perform the tour from July of 2009 to march of 2010. It was said that Michael had expressed interest about going into film making.

Also he would always write poetry, study books and write more songs.
