Picasso got his inspiration from people, especially women. One woman he painted often was Dora Maar. He also did several portraits of his wives and mistresses.

Pablo Picasso liked to paint what he is thinking about. When his friend died he drew a picture of his friend dead, when he missed his family in Spain he would paint a family.
