The Pueblo Indians are not thought to be related to the Hohokam just the Anasazi, Sinagua and Mogollon. The modern Pueblo dry land farm like the Anasazi especially in the western Pueblos. They grow the same crops but added ones that were brought by the Spanish like peaches and melons. In the eastern Pueblos they irrigated their farms which is similar to the Hohokam but not the same and not not thought to be related. They have the same housing patterns, the same pottery styles, the same weaving of cotton. The kachina cult is thought to have started among the Anasazi at the end of their time and continues among the Pueblo.

∙ 9y agoThe ancestors of the modern Pueblo people are thought to be the various Anasazi and some of the Mogollon cultures. The Hohokam are not thought to be relataed to them. It is thought that the ancestors of the Hohokam are the modern Akimel O'odham (Pima) and Tohono O'odham (Papago) peoples in Southern Arizona. The only known relation to the modern Pueblo people is at the Wupatki ruin near Flagstaff. This culture that has is thought to have been Kayenta Anasazi and Sinagua appears to have some Hohokam and Central Mexican influences. Some Hopi clans trace their roots to here and other Sinagua sites. The Hopi clans with these roots are : Bear, Sand, Lizard, Rattlesnake, Water, Snow, and Katsina Clans. They regularly return for ceremonial reasons. They do not however continue theses Hohokam influences like ball courts
