The wealthy during that time would have a large breakfast consisting of white bread, several varieties of meat, several varieties of fish, and wine or ale (alcohol being more sanitary than water), which was all served around midday. The poor would eat at dawn (before the work started) and would only have rye bread and ale if they were lucky.
To be honest they had porridge. They harvested their own crops for food but the porridge wouldn't be as satisfying considering they didn't have technology back then.
