If GOD had a purpose for creating, then he had a purpose for US.
Whenever we see a complicated piece of machinery, or a beautiful work of art, we know that the designer had a purpose in mind for it. He didn't just put gears and wires , or color and texture together for nothing. He had some REASON for making it.
We can look around us at our world, and see it as an accidental fluke coming from nothing with no purpose (sortof like a fully functioning car spontaneously growing from the dust over many years). If that's all it is, then that's all there is. No future, no hope, no purpose. Just live the best we can and die.
ON the other hand:
If God "CREATED", then he had a purpose for doing so.
We can look around us at our world, and see it as something designed for us.
Humankind was created FROM the earth and FOR the earth, fully functional, with the ability to love, laugh, worship, plan for the future, hope, dream, eat and drink to sustain our lives and procreate to sustain the human family, and 'fill the earth' (Genesis 1:28).
We will see 'normal' things as the miracles they truly are. Like Trees...clean, silent, beautiful factories constantly working to clean our air, provide shade and homes for thousands of creatures that are all miracles of design themselves , to clean and renew our amazing planet. A planet that has a PURPOSE (Isaiah 45:18)
As any good inventor and designer would do, an Owner's Manual, with a set of 'directions' are provided, for optimum operating capacity. God, the creator, provided The Bible. It explains the history of creation, why He created, what our purpose is and what our future is. He explained how to handle certain problems that may come up, where to go for repairs and how to fix things permanently. There are some limitations, but for the most part we are given a lifetime warranty that lasts FOREVER .(John 17:3)
Because 'God Created', we HAVE a future and a hope.(Jeremiah 29:11)(John 3:16)
Because even God can make mistakes. He doesn't, he created free will. People make their own choices, whether right or wrong. God didn't create temptation, Satan did.
Don't Make Me Your God was created in 1992.
God Don't Make No Junk was created on 1994-06-24.
According to Genesis God made Adam and Eve clothes out of coats of skins, presumably animal hides. Whether God created them out of nothing, or killed the animals to make them, is not revealed.
I would say that we are all capable of truth whether or not we are created in God's image.
The bible does not say that man created God, although there are certainly other books which make that assertion. Whether we believe that God created us, or that we created (or imagined) Him, it would still be true, in either case, that sanctimonious murder in the name of God is a very serious problem in our world. Religion has proved to be a convenient excuse for many terrible crimes. Of course, religion can inspire people to do good things as well. Religion is what you make of it.
there is no actual way to prove whether or not we evolved (Charles Darwin's theory of evolution) or if we were created by god. my answer is no. i say that we were created by god. but that is my opinion.
You have to decide whether you are willing to believe science, which says that the earth was formed from material from a star, or whether you wish to believe the Genesis account, because Genesis says that the earth already existed before the stars were created. You also have to decide whether you are willing to believe that the stars are enormous, distant bodies or just lights in the firmament that separates the waters above from the waters below. Then you are in a position to say whether God really created the earth just as we have it now.
It wasn't, but if you believe in God then, it may be that he created the materials needed to make bamboo.
Heaven, by definition, is life with God, it is called the Beatific Vision (in which one enjoys the sight of God for eternity). It is what we were created for, and the earth, and this mortal life, were created as a testing place in order for us to make our decision as to whether we want to spent our eternity in eternal joy with God, or eternal misery separated from Him.
Belief in God will make no difference to when the world will end.
AnswerChristians believe that God created people. Whether the body is perfect or not, they believe creation to be a gift.
