If GOD had a purpose for creating, then he had a purpose for US.
Whenever we see a complicated piece of machinery, or a beautiful work of art, we know that the designer had a purpose in mind for it. He didn't just put gears and wires , or color and texture together for nothing. He had some REASON for making it.
We can look around us at our world, and see it as an accidental fluke coming from nothing with no purpose (sortof like a fully functioning car spontaneously growing from the dust over many years). If that's all it is, then that's all there is. No future, no hope, no purpose. Just live the best we can and die.
ON the other hand:
If God "CREATED", then he had a purpose for doing so.

Humankind was created FROM the earth and FOR the earth, fully functional, with the ability to love, laugh, worship, plan for the future, hope, dream, eat and drink to sustain our lives and procreate to sustain the human family, and 'fill the earth' (Genesis 1:28).
We will see 'normal' things as the miracles they truly are. Like Trees...clean, silent, beautiful factories constantly working to clean our air, provide shade and homes for thousands of creatures that are all miracles of design themselves , to clean and renew our amazing planet. A planet that has a PURPOSE (Isaiah 45:18)
As any good inventor and designer would do, an Owner's Manual, with a set of 'directions' are provided, for optimum operating capacity. God, the creator, provided The Bible. It explains the history of creation, why He created, what our purpose is and what our future is. He explained how to handle certain problems that may come up, where to go for repairs and how to fix things permanently. There are some limitations, but for the most part we are given a lifetime warranty that lasts FOREVER .(John 17:3)
Because 'God Created', we HAVE a future and a hope.(Jeremiah 29:11)(John 3:16)

The bible does not say that man created God, although there are certainly other books which make that assertion. Whether we believe that God created us, or that we created (or imagined) Him, it would still be true, in either case, that sanctimonious murder in the name of God is a very serious problem in our world. Religion has proved to be a convenient excuse for many terrible crimes. Of course, religion can inspire people to do good things as well. Religion is what you make of it.
