AnswerThere are no 'laws' nor 'rules' in Christianity. Christianity is about a loving relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and so no 'rules' are necessary if love is given an received freely.
There are only two commandments Jesus gave (a summary of the 10 commandments given by God to Moses). These are
1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
2. Love your neighbour as you would love yourself.
On these two principals, we are told by Jesus, hang 'ALL the Law and the prophets'.
There are some groups that do have rules. As an example, Catholics do not eat meat on Fridays (the day of the crucifixion) and Salvationists do not drink alcohol nor smoke. However, these 'rules' are merely customs followe by particular groups an have no real basis or compulsion in the Christian faith - they are simply traditional customs of that group.
