Fantails, (Piwakawaka), mainly feed on invertebrates, with occasionally fruit and somewhat.
I have a photo of a fantail feeding with its feet in a shallow stream - presumably some floating food.
Their fan-shaped tail is of immense value in allowing nimble turns in flight.

Some people believe she will come back because in the end of Sonic x, Tails had planted the seed Sonic gave him, but others believe she is DEAD and Tails should be with Cream; when really, there is noright answer. First I should state: If you are a Taiream fan, sorry if you hate the idea of Tails being with a plant, but there are some people who still support them; and i GUESS you could put a fox with a rabbit, but Tails would eat her. Then again, foxes also eat plants (Remember, Sonic the hedgehog is just entertainment stuff, so nobody would really eat each other). The seed Tails has/had, well, who KNOWS exactly what would or will happen. It could be Cosmo, a baby (Which, I really doubt), or it could just be a normal plant. Some people have their own opinions of what it could be. Like I said, there really is no right answer. If you have other questions, like, Is Taiream a good couple?, or, Which Tails couple is best?, then you're out of luck on this page. Just search it up (FYI, you can tell it's me typing by this symbol- :D:D:DPOTATO).
