It all depends on the individual. Any view point or belief that a person keeps in high regard will affect the decision making process for that person, in the same way whatever beliefs a person has will affect his or her life accordingly.
Practicing one's faith and devotion towards God is one's own spiritual effort and it does not concern any particular religion but the attitude and efforts on that particular individual.
