Crested geckos have a special diet referred to as "Crested Gecko Diet". Crested gecko diet is a meal replacement powder (MRP) that has been specially formulated for this species. Within the diet are all the proper ratios of: Calcium, Phosphorus, Vitamin C, Vitamin B etc..

This diet is a mix of 1 part diet to 2 parts water. It becomes a thicker apple-saucy substance. After it has been poured into a bowl and left in the setup over night, the animal will lap it up.

The eyelash crested gecko "Rhacodactylus. Cilatus" are a omnivorous species forging for fruits and nectar's while hunting insects. These animals have been able to thrive in captivity and are the worlds 2nd best reptile seller. With over 50 traits and desired morphs readily available, the only thing better than their physical features is their easy care. These animals have been in the hobby since 97' and there has been a lot of controversy over what to feed them. Back in the 90's people were advised to feed supplemented babyfood. In the past decade, Allen Repashy has created a Meal Replacement Powder (MRP) that has all of the required vitamins, nutrients, calcium etc.. MRP by Repashy comes in a variety of flavours and has been created for the purposes of crested geckos. An animal feeding on this would require 3 feedings a week, and better yet, eating this MRP, live feeders are not required.
