they can eat guinea pig pellets, carrots, letuce, dried cranberries, apple, grapes, tree bark, twigs, leaves, grass, celery, Pears, and any guinea pig treats in a pet store. these are all healthy treats that most guinea pigs enjoy, but do not over feed your guinea pig.
Be careful what treats you buy, Guinea pigs can't eat any seeds, nuts, or dairy products which most treats have in them. Its better to feed them veggies. Be careful how often you feed certain veggies, and make sure they don't get to much calcium or they might get bladder stones.

∙ 12y agoNew born guinea pigs will nurse from their mother for the first few weeks of their lives. It is important during this time to provide adequate food for the nursing mother and for the babies as they are weaned onto solid food. I say this because you might find it necessary to clean out your guinea pig's food dish more than once daily when babies are in the cage (for whatever reason, they find it fun to jump into the dish and do their "business there").
