Human Food. Like Fruit Vegatables.Pasta,Rice .They cannot eat choclate or any other animal food thank you.

Not entirely true. Most human food is not good for them. The require a lot of vitamin C and D3 in their diet. If keeping as a pet, which is not recommended without A LOT of research and a willingness to commit for their 15 to 20 yr lifespan, their diet requires quite a bit of work. They need actual marmoset diet which comes as either a canned diet or a dry food (much like cats or dogs) but it doesn't stop there. You then have to balance in (carefully) fresh fruits, vegetables, protein, insects, etc etc. Each batch you mix up keeps in the fridge for about 3 to 4 days. That is a bunch of shopping for a pet, but anything less is cruel. If their diet is not varied in this way (mimicking what they eat in the wild) they can suffer from Marmoset Wasting Disease.

Also, for people still considering having one (or any monkey as a pet) anyone with a cold or the flu can't be around them, or go near them for 72 hours or they will die. Not get sick, die. Did that lady at the store with the sniffles sneeze on you? Yeah, you have to be that careful.

And they scent mark and smell worse than a ferret.

They are wonderful little animals, but they are better appreciated from afar.
