Moose are primarily solitary animals. The only groups you'd see of moose is of a cow with one or more of her calves.
Not always, but there is a chance if you are in an area where Moose live. I saw several when I was living in Montana and Wyoming. If you do see a moose, don't go near it, just look from a safe place. They can hurt you.
Moose do not travel in heards, they tend to travel alone. Sometimes you may see a couple moose together eating or something, but that's not very common.
