Just like people of the world, [The United States of] America has many individuals with their own personalities and attitudes. So, it wouldn't be fair to lump everyone into a cookie cutter, matter-of-fact way of life. However, like many nations, Americans do have common traits amongst the people which can be taken positively or just very negatively.
Some traits would include:
- Confidence which can also be taken as arrogance
- Indulgence in life's pleasures which can also be taken as laziness, gluttony, and greed
- Expectancy of the very best in life which can also be taken being spoiled and rude
- Very helpful and very vocal towards outside affairs which can also be taken as overbearing, pushy, and nosy
- Most concentration on local affairs which can also be taken as ignorance
- Pride in ones heritage yet also in one's own country which can also be taken as simple vanity
