What do people think about interracial marriage?

I think interracial marriage is just as okay as any old marriage I also think that anyone who thinks that it is wrong needs to wake up cause its the 21 century Color is just a color...it cant choose who you are or who your are going to marry

For me personally i don't agree with it because of my culture, I wouldn't even marry outside my culture, not to talk about race. Even today in 2009, some people agree with it some people don't, it's people's persoanl beliefs, theres nothing wrong with that.

It depends what you mean. Obviously it exists, so there is no reason to believe it doesn't exist. If you mean whether it is real or not, there is no reason to doubt that either. If a Black couple is capable of love for another, and if a White couple is capable of love for one another, and we are human beings, then such love between members of different races should be just as genuine.

If you mean in terms of whether people believe it is a good thing or not, there are still people who oppose interracial marriage or who at least won't have one for themselves. Such persons may feel inconvenienced by it being legal since that allows for a public expectation of it that runs contrary to what such persons want for themselves. When it is illegal, those who don't want it won't be hassled by people seeking such. However, that does not mean it is less valid, that it should be illegal, nor that it is any less genuine of an experience. Ultimately, the only opinions that matter in this are those of the two people who are in love with each other.

Everyone's feelings run the entire gamut. Most people at least support the concept or concede that "love is love." Some refuse to ever have such a marriage if they can help it, but believe everyone should have the right to decide for themselves. A few still oppose it; some for reasons such as concerns for any offspring, and others for clearly racist reasons. However, most are accepting to at least some degree.

It's fine. It's socially accepted now so most people don't care any more since they have bigger problems unless they are racist.
