What this probably means is that whoever did your eye exam is using metric units to describe your visual acuity. (ability to see) 6/6+5 is equivalent to 20/20 +5 (or better than 20/20. 6/24-1 would be the equivalent of 20/80 -1 (or a little worse than 20/80)
