Wolves, as in the animals in the real world who walk on all fours, do play some games...But usually only younger wolves do. Some ideas for games that wolves in the wild play include: Chase/tag, wrestle, hunt(some wolf pups can for example pretend to hunt a rabbit, which is really a pinecone), race, and puddle jump(basically wolves jumping in puddles). These are just some of the possibilities for games. Just use your imagination, I guess :)

If you mean, are wolves playful with human children, the answer is no. While wolves have been known to raise human children (these are called "feral children") this happens very infrequently. In general, wolves avoid humans, and like all wild animals are dangerous if they are approached. Though wolves don't eat people, they will bite if they feel threatened. So don't let your kids play with wolves. If you mean, are wolves playful with their own children, the answer is yes. Wolf cubs will wrestle with their mom or babysitter, chew on their tail, play chase games, etc. Play is important to all mammals (and some other species too) especially when they are young. Adult wolves will also play with each other to maintain their social bonds.
The protagonist in the book "Hatchet" encounters a species of wolves known as timber wolves in the wilderness. These wolves play a significant role in the character's survival and adventures in the story.
