There is no native people of Antarctica. As far as anyone knows there never has been either.

The only people that do spend any time in Antarctica tend to be scientists and researchers. There's an international treaty that reserves the Antarctic for the use of peace, science and such - it works in much the same way that no country can claim outer space or the planets.

There are no inhabitants or native populations, in the classic sense, on the Antarctic continent. People who live and work there temporarily are scientists and those who work in support of science.

people that live in Antarctica are called arctic people

Another Answer

There are no native peoples who live in Antarctica. Anyone who 'lives' there, is supported by their government and they work in science research stations for a contracted period. They are called by their native nationality, so America, French, New Zealander, Australian, Russian and so forth.

PS: Arctic people live in the Northern Hemisphere -- Antarctica is in the Southern Hemisphere.

No one 'comes' from Antarctica, since there are no native peoples on the continent.

However, one nickname used to describe people who have lived and worked there temporarily, is Old Antarctic Explorer.
