If you mean that you had a computer, put on a copy of Windows 7 you purchased, then damaged the computer and got a new one and you now want to use the Windows 7 disc you have, you may have to call microsoft and let them know you wish to put your registered Window copy on a new unit. Windows is only supposed to be installed on one unit per end-user copy of Windows. If you typed in your product key code already on your old unit, you will have to call Microsoft support and ask them to free your code for re-use. They will not always be able to do this for you but they're usually able to.
