Over heating engines are either a clog in the system, or a bad water pump it is a Ford I would check both and while you are at replace your freeze plugs. Stalling means it need the new front valve cover kit. Ebay for about $80. This is a half day project and any doit your self person can do it. Noisy needs more explanation. I have had all the problems above plus a transmission and rack and pinion. So have fun. Oh check you compression in both cylinders first a head gasket can cause all the problems too. Kit is $60 at harbor freight. Junk the car if the head gasket is it it means your problems are just starting.

Well, first you have to figure out WHY it's stalling.
Noisy pump, hard starting, stalling.

Leaking? Pulley loose? Noisy? No coolant circulation?
You may want to check the IMRC's which control fuel flow on the intakes. These went bad on my 97.
