If you can, leave the nest well alone. Disturbing the nest could cause the mother bird to abandon the nest. Birds do not like humans going near their young are will flee quite readily, with no thought of coming back. If you are concerned about the test then contact your local animal welfare society for advice and assistance.
You can take a net and carefully lift the nest up and out of the pool. Then you can place it in a secure place in a tree. As long as the nest is secure the babies should be fine.
