My iPod nano used to work fine and now I have to press the center button repeatedly to get it to work at all. I tried resetting it in all ways possible and now it is getting really annoying. I need a solution because I do not particularly want to eBay this iPod. Please answer ASAP. I need a hardware answer more than a software answer but anything will do if it fixes my problem.
take it to the store if still in warranty or take it to a local repair shop...
is it charged? if it might not be, try that. if it doesnt work, then you can try restarting it which can be done by pressing on the center button and "menu" until you see an apple

no the 3rd generation iPod touch doesnt have a camera, although the iPod nano chromatic 5th generation does have a camera
On the bottom-center of the iPod it is a circle with a tiny square in it (the home button).
The power button is on the top of the iPod. Depending on what generation, it will either be at the right or left
sorr but it doesnt, only the 4th generation does :)
no the 4th gen has a camera but the 2nd doesnt
To delete camera videos, you go to that video, hold the center button, and choose delete.
iPod Touch 3rd Generation has Voice Control Bluetooth and will come with 3.1.1 firmware, but if you upgrade your ipod touch 2nd generation to 3.1.1 you will get bluetooth. Its also faster.
If you want to see the video camera effects on your iPod 5th Generation, you must download/install itunes and hook up your iPod.Then when the iPod is disconected,go to your video camera and hold down the center button. Make sure to hold it down right in the middle,or the thickest part of the center button.
It's the home button
I have an Ipod Nano. Try holding down the MENU and the center "click" button for at least 10 seconds. That's what I did and it worked.
