Click on the fire and select the "Extinguish Fire" option. If the fire does not go out, have your Sim call the fire department, but continue to use the extinguisher to contain the fire until a firefighter arrives.

∙ 14y agoI gave my Sim total free will and she tried to cook something and destroyed the new oven and caught the whole kitchen on fire. Not Funny! No more free will for her! Hahaha!

∙ 13y agoi don't think that you prevent them but you can buy smoke alarms and if you have a fire i think that the firemen are called right when the fire alarm goes off so you don't have to call them
