To be an electrician (in the US) you should know algebra, geometry, conduit bending, safety (OSHA 10 or 30), National Fire Protection Agency 70E Electrical Safe work Practices, motor controls, fire alarm and security systems, the National Electrical Code book, AC and DC theory.
